JPPL Notebook Covers is run by Dr. Piyush Singhal, CEO of Jagannath Polymers Pvt Ltd, and published by Jagannath Polymers Pvt Ltd, a packaging manufacturer in Jaipur, India. The company was founded in 1995, has been manufacturing since 1997, and exports to 20+ countries.
What we make here
Notebook covers are one of our main products. We make them in our own plant in four series and eleven designs, from boxed 8-metre rolls for the retail counter to plain rolls sold by the kilo in the market. We sell them to stationery distributors and wholesale dealers, who supply retailers and school suppliers across their regions.
Alongside the covers we make BOPP tape, which the same students buy, so a distributor can order stationery tape with the covers.
How we work
- Made in our own plant. The covers on this site are made by JPPL. Some designs carry names such as "China", but they are made here like the rest.
- 50 micron and above. Every cover we make is 50 micron or thicker, as India's plastic rules require.
- Plain facts. We give real widths, lengths, micron and carton counts, say what is in stock and what is made to order, and do not publish prices that would go out of date.
- Real photos. Every product photo on this site shows our own covers.
The school season
Notebook covers are a seasonal product. Most are bought from February to June, before the new school session. We plan production around it, and we ask our distributors to plan with us: designs in December and January, orders before the rush.
PackSmith
PackSmith is the ecommerce brand of JPPL Innovation Pvt Ltd, part of the same group. It sells small packs of our notebook covers online, for buyers who do not need a carton.
