Where wide covers sell
- Registers and long books. Office registers, attendance registers and long notebooks.
- Large textbooks. Atlases, drawing books and big-format school books.
- Covering two books at once. A 19 inch roll can cover a wide spread or two thin books side by side.
Measure before you choose
Lay the book open, add about 3 cm on every side for the fold, and check the height of that piece against the roll width. If it is more than about 35 cm, a 14 inch roll will be tight; choose 16 inch. Above about 40 cm, choose 19 inch. Our sizes and packing page has the full width chart.
Questions buyers ask
Why do I need a wider cover for a register?
You cover a book with it lying open, and you need extra film on every side to fold over. An A4 register is almost 30 cm tall, which leaves very little to fold on a 14 inch (35.6 cm) roll. A 16 or 19 inch roll gives a proper fold.
What film are Supreme covers made of?
The same PP film as our Floura covers, in natural and fluorescent colours, 50 micron or thicker.
